Heh heh. Yah the neighbours might complain, but I don't care. Hopefully I'll get the stuff I need off soon. But.....

Of course after I dumped the gas from the engine, (it was like more than 6L !) I just HAD to find out if the engine turned. Sooo I tried the big nut on the pulley but it's hard to get to. Then I tried turning the engine by the alternator nut. Engine turned, (pretty funny to watch gas spew out of one of the spark plug holes!!) but stopped and belt started slipping. Thought I'd find out why..... ;^) So there I was, learning about the oh-so-fun job of getting the alternator bracket off the block. Oh well. At least one stud is present. The other already MIA. Maybe I'll BS something up to keep it in place when I try running the engine..... without all the gas!
