You must have an 84 single groove pulley? the other one won't bent!

If you have an single groove pulley, that can happen but you will see it wave/move.

If not an 84, and if it's a tripple groove one... search elsewhere.

Vanagon water pump will go out of order pretty fast if: -After market carp -to tight, i mean it, this one should be a loose a possible (belt) -Bad mixture of coolant, yea!

By an HEPU or a Graft, make sure the belt is loose.
