You already destroyed it with the PB blaster. Get a new one. To replace a cat without having a new or at least known good sensor is a waste. Cats usually go badly because something else is wrong and the O2 sensor not working will kill it in short order.

I'm replacing the catalytic converter on my Carat and not suprisingly, the 02 sensor is thoroughly stuck with corrosion. Generous application of PB blaster is ineffective. Would applying torch heat risk damage to the sensor? It seems obvious that it is made for high temps but as high as a torch?
