"And since then I've run into at least three people that had past experience with Buses and Vanagons and when they got a Eurovan they did not like it. And within the last 48 hours there was a EVC posted on the WetWesties list for sale by an experienced individual that is going back to a Vanagon, primarily because of the low clearance on the Eurovan, not good off the pavement."

I discussed this with a couple who used to own a Westy, and were leaving on an extended trip in their new Eurovan Camper, and they said the same thing .... more room in the Westy and the only reason for getting the EVC was the reliability and power (read: newer technology).

Interior space is bigger in the Westy, in part, because it is a truck chassis. The EVC is a Passat chassis and that is self explanatory.

Bob ...but it is too bad they chose not to import the 4Motion feature on the U.S. EVC's
