My understanding, is that keeping a Eurovan on the road can be
significantly more expensive than doing the same with a Vanagon,
assuming you have some decent shadetree mechanic skills.  This is based
on limited personal experience, and talking to some other people that
had both.


It could be the reliability issues were with earlier models that have
since been worked out?  I'm not sure.  But I would estimate cost of
ownership to be significantly higher for the Eurovan.
