sorry for the (apparent from here?) double post, a little trouble with the 'back' button.

well I stayed up late and plowed through the archives. I learned how to do the capacitor fix to the AFM and how to set it on to a new track, which will probably help my idle, which could help the overall vibration of the engine which has caused numerous problems the last several years. I hope the capacitor can take care of the cut-out problem....

Not completely clear about grounding the AFM somehow though.

Also learned that the ECU is grounded through the mounting hardware, that was completely new to me. Have never checked that. Even when trying my extra ECU I just leave the original one in place and let the stiffness of the wire harness hold the other one up. So one more ground to clean and some electronics work to go...
