"Sweetwaters" is a downtown Burlington restaurant which provides a free
Thanksgiving dinner to folks ... It is located on the downtown walking mall
(corner of College and Church)...Also, you might like the Flat Bread
restaurant which is located on St. Paul Street, one block toward Lake
Champlain from Sweetwaters.
Before last night, Mt. Mansfield had 9 inches of snow on the top. I haven't
heard how much the mountain got last night and today, but wx report
yesterday was calling for up to 9 additional inches. If you are heading for
the summit, expect hard-packed crust, because today has been windy. Also,
as you come into Vermont, I recommend you tune your radio to 107.9 (VT
Public Radio). They were reporting "black ice" on I-89 near Exit 8, which
is south of Montpelier, and can be "dicey" this time of year.
Have a great trip.
