It has been some years since I've been thru Goldfield, but when I was much younger, my family spent summers in the Armagosa Valley where grandparents had some land. On the way home one year we stopped in Goldfield for a rest and while we were there, bought a pump organ. Not sure why, but we did. Course, with two parents, four kids (three of us brothers and one borrowed kid), there wasn't much room in our '72 bus (mandatory content) we had at the time; rearrange seats, stuff in organ, pile in kids, off we go. The organ still plays, but some of the leather needs to be redone. One of these days...
