Whenever bleeding any system this way (or with the vacuum-type 'one-man brake bleeders"), it is necessary to first completely remove the bleeder valves, grease their threads (to keep the air from sucking back thru them), and then re-install them, to be able to proceed properly if using this method. I've done this, and it does work fine. I do, however, love my Motive pressure bleeder, now, so I don't use these other methods anymore.
