So my (guessed) ratio is about 1.4 reported/actual speed, and yours comes in at 1.6. Assuming that both of our guesses are off, they may be due to the same problem.

Me too --- My speedo also reads way high --- and I just had my speedo cable replaced. The speedo reads 160 kph when my GPS tells me 100 kph --- and yes that's kilometeres folks.   Cheers, Doug
