Interesting.

Given the lack of English as a first language (no dissing here) the PO couldn't really describe all of what happened. He's not too mechanically inclined either. Likely his mechanic was doing all the work though. Regardless, this makes sense as a possible scenario.

I'll be buying a compression tester (something I could use) so I'll be curious to see what it yields.

Last night I thought:

"Hey. If this 1.9 WBX is ok, why not just install it in my 81 air cooled instead of a 15 degree install?"
