Subject: Throttle cable for 1.9 auto 85 with Mcquiver story bonus
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

So a few weeks back i posted some pics of a worn 85 throttle body then I posted pic's of a really great used body. Today I got that installed , went for a short drive got out on a seconday rd and all of sudden the foot is to the foor & no go ... well i figured that the clip on the end of the cable popped off since i had a bitch of time getting that in place with me myself & i and that spring but no that was not it that @#!#%$#%$#%$ cable broke on the tranny housing I guess all that mucking around & the fact the cable ball joint was not flexing did it in .. So how do you get err done home w/o a throttle cable by your self best Mcquiver ans wins a donut

I look around well I got a fishing rod and I get this image of me reeling in the fishing rod on the throttle spring to go & reel out to slow down nah nah na ... no donut hell i am canadian and err well ya know duct tape is canucks best friend but do you realy stretch it from the engine compartment to some where around the driver ....nope well sort a You take your heavy duty tow strap wrap the duct tape around 1 end of the strap & then loop the tape around the throttle shaft now the van rides like a horse in reverse you pull up on the reins to go & let em loosee to slow down

that my story home, wowa boy howdy good time on the ride home :

and well I just check the usually on line guys no one lists the cable where do you get a throttle cable for auto 1.9 ouside of the stealer
