Yes, don't confuse fluid with liquid... the two words are NOT synonyms.


A fluid can be a liquid, but some are not. ALL liquids are fluids.


Dust can be fluid, as well as water and gases. Solid ROCK can be
fluid under sufficient pressure.


And don't forget that fluid systems are mechanical (eg brakes).
