As one of our other members pointed out, I failed to read all of the
message :)
I was thinking you were inquirying if LSD's would be an advantage on a
Syncro without lockers, and I think that would be great additions to
that particular combination.
The locking LSDs are going to more expensive to accomodate the factory
diff lock mechanism. If you don't have the factory diff lock
mechanisms, getting a LSD that works with the locking diff won't give
you the locking capability on a diff/trans that doesn't have the
locking mechanism. To have the diff lock capability you'd still need
to add the rest of the parts (actuator, bracket, and some sort of way
to trigger the actuator.
