Mordo, the light flashes and there's a HUGE buzzing sound; you won't mistake
it for anything else, believe me. Sounds like an electric chain saw in your
dash, trying to get out.
I'm with the speedo cable crowd; I've had that in many different cars &
trucks as winter approached and things got cold.
Try Richard's 2500 RPM in neutral test.
