I just want to be clear by what you mean by 'steering knuckle.'
You mean the part that has the spindle the wheel bearings sit on, right ?
I call that the Upright/Spindle, tho that name isn't perfect either.
I read recently something about whether the 84 has power steering or not,
some small difference somewhere. ..........?

You would have to get the steering knuckles off an '86 or newer model in
order to use the newer brake rotors and calipers, David.
