Subject: another road trip summary

So we just returned from another road trip.

A total of 950 miles.

Average of 18.6 MPG, got up to 20.8 on one tank. Seems to be higher with 92 octane than anything else. Can this be?

Coolant light went crazy a few times, scared us all. Checked coolant several times-added a few ounces, bled radiator-not much air. No overheating, nothing wrong. We ignored it the last time it came on and stayed for about 20 miles and then shut off. Oh yeah, the rear of the van was fully loaded with bedding and stuff. Fun to unload and reload a few times. :-)

And we finally became those parents. You know, the ones with a portable DVD player. The kids enjoyed it. Bungeed it to the driver's head rest and played the sound through the stereo with my Ipod transmitter. Pretty cool.
