I second replacement if you can find one. Sealant can come off and do fun things to your fuel system.

Maybe a good used southern US tank?

Ok so what should I do about my rusty fuel tank in my 84?

Replace it or try and clean and seal it?

Will the screens inside it pose a problem with sealing?

Thanks, Ed
