Also try Hoch Motors up in Santa Rosa. They usually have a few Vanagons---not sure about Syncros. They charge more than street prices but their vans are typically pretty clean. Stop in at Valley Wagonworks in San Rafael and introduce yourself to Paul, the owner. He's a great guy and knows a lot of folks in the SF Bay Area with Vanagons.
