Hello all,

I had to remove the alternator to replace a broken alternator bracket in my
1991 Vanagon GL.  In the process, I broke a black wire on the rear of the
alternator.  The broken wire leads to a little black box.  Here are

I also broke the blue wire, too.  I know where that one goes, but the black
wire seems too short to attach to anything.  It may go the same place the
blue wire goes, but I'm not a 100% sure.  Any guidance would be
appreciated.
