Allan, First, if you have the Bentley, it will cover it the procedure well. I just did these on a 91 a few weeks ago. What ever you do, do NOT forget to measure from the back of the aft bushing nut to the end of the threads. Don't try to mark it and think it will work (Don't ask how I know). You have to back the nut off a fairly substantial amount and then you put a wrench on the rod and back it out of it's threads on the arm. The rest is cake (you know- assembly is the reverse, yada, yada, yada). You'll be amazed how the new ones look compared to the old ones.

Good luck TJ

Anyone have a how-to on replacing the radius rod bushings? On my '91 Vanagon GL, the outer bushing is completely missing on the driver's side, and the others have seen better days.

I have the new bushings -- anything tricky about this job?

Thanks,

Allan
