We used it in the USAF on the glass on our fleet of KC-135's, for all the years that I was a crewchief. It was a mil-spec version of the same exact main ingredient as is in Rain-X. Just realise that the wipers do wear away that area, so, it does need to be reapplied every so often; you'll know when it's time. Sometimes, we'd drive down the highway in our Rain-X'd POV's, and not even need to turn on the wipers, it's that good. The airflow over the windshield at highway speeds over a fresh application of Rain-X, would be an awesome sight! The rain just streaks across the glass and flys off. BTW, don't use their windshield washer fluid with it inside; it's a waste of money. Just apply it by hand to the outside of your window. They also sell an anti-fogging product to be applied to the inside of your window. This stuff would have come in handy, back in the 70's when I was daily-driving a Beetle with no working defroster. Anyone else have good stuff to say about this?
