Whiskey, see back to the Future Part III; blew a chunk of the aluminum manifold off the Delorean in 1885. Doc said it would take him a month to fix it. But I speculate that would probably not be with a replacement cast in Aluminum since Aluminum was not widely available until after 1889. Anyway, they decided to take the train instead.
