Donna,

Coolant on the inside (you said alll over ... in the front, too?) is likely from the rear heater valve, its O-Ring, or the rear heater core.

On one of mine, I had a leaky core and on another a bad O-Ring. I discovered the bad O-ring by getting the coolant system up to pressure then wiggling the valve. I could see the leak between the valve and the core on that one.
