Fake POPTOP For Your Vanagon - $650 ------------------------------ Reply to: sale-493688664@craigslist.org<sale-493688664@craigslist.org?subject=Fake%20POPTOP%20For%20Your%20Vanagon%20-%20$650> Date: 2007-11-29, 4:08PM PST

I am importing these fake poptops from China. They look exactly like the real thing except they don't have those pesky tents. Of course you won't have the large hole in your roof either. These will bolt right on and instantly increase the value of your Vanagon by $10,000! Put a 2" lift in your stock Vanagon and have a fake Syncro too. I am selling Syncro stickers also for $39.99. Also another advantage is that the stuck-up people in Vanagon Poptops will now wave at you. You won't have them look the other way when you wave from a stock Van. (Doesn't that piss you off that you are not cool enough????) Now they will wave before you do! These look like a Westy not a Riviera which is not near as cool. Even have a Westfalia sticker. Cost is a mere $650.00. It is all one piece. Paint it to match! Email for more info.

clearly this ad is poking fun at all vw vans ... i mean really as if a fake syncro sticker were going to intimidate anyone ... and the mention of pesky tents .. those tents are actually pesk free ... i would suggest that the creator of this add is either a person who recently had their van taken away from them by Bernd Pischetsrieder for some sort of unvanagon behavior ... i have heard that rolls royce drivers are continually threatened by mother corp if they dont fly right the vehicle will be taken away and i had heard that vw bought rolls royce so i see no reason why the policy should change... as i said the creator of this add is clearly a former vanagoner who had driving privileges revoked yours On Nov 30, 2007 8:04 AM, Tom Boldway <jboldway@hotmail.com> wrote:
