well just shy of putting a thin coat of triple guard marine grease i dont know what else you could do... that would definitely slow down the corrosion...but i dont know what effect it will have on the seal of the aluminum rubber mate. i wouldnt say that the rubber has any actual electrical properties...i think its the combination of the aluminum and the rubber combined that create galvanism. i used to work in a facility where there was a high corrosion rate ... it was basically a highly chlorinated pool with radio frequencies run through the water ... if you have ever see holes corroded through stainless steel with in 2 months of exposure...whew .... but the triple guard slowed the corrosion considerably ...i dont know ...might be the wrong person to answer you question...good luck! Chad~
