Hi Pete thought it would be in your neck of the woods but 95 miles is not all that close. I wonder if you can call AAA and say it broke down can you tow it to
your house. If you have the 100 mile plan your golden!!!
A buddy of mine use to buy old busses and have them towed to his home all the time. He had the AAA towing service and they caught on to what he was
doing after the 6th or 7th bus that Had not been on the road for 20 years plus had just broken down and sunk into the ground and needed to be towed to
his house.

Hey, Jonce:
It's about 95 miles from our place. Still have the most recent dead Blue '85 in the barn. Scotty just got some new brakes for it and brought some new
wheels over for it. Haven't really dug into it.
Wonder it Mark L in Valpo would like to take a crack at it. It does seem pretty nice.

To far for me to fetch. There is also an automatic vanagon 86 gold with bad motor and bad trans local to me Ann Arbor area for 400 bones. Not sure If I
need to pull a boat load of parts off of that one or not. Guess it would depend on its parts worth. Nothing I would put on the road. I know of the guy and he
is not kind to the VW world in taking care of stuff.

Jonce,
Why are you doing this to me? You know I have no self control :)
Hey, if it goes to a yard maybe I can talk Pete or one of the other Indianna boys into pulling some stuff for me (hint hint)

Hi all
There is a Dead 85 Vanagon on ebay that looks clean with a few days left on it for like 500 bones. I really dont see it selling since the Motor is Toast. But it
looks nice and should be a great fixer. If it were closer it looks to be a good candidate for the motor Im pulling out of My vanagon but I dont have the time or
effort to do it. This Vanagon is NOT MINE and I have no Ties to it what so ever it is just south of chicago so this is going out to the Busses by the Beach
guys
and the Vanagon guys in that area. If it doesnt sell on ebay it may go to a local yard since it wont be worth all that much not running but worth quite a bit in
parts.
Go Get EM!
