Hi all. A quick search of archive didn't show what I need to know. I will crack as many fasteners loose as I can while front suspension/rack is still in. Can I remove the lower wishbone/calipers/steering rack/radius/knucles as a unit? i.e. for one side at a time, put a jack under lower arm, remove bolts for upper/lower arms, rack etc. seperate upper arm from upper ball joint, remove springs/shocks and drop lower parts as a unit? That way I could either sell as is, or if/when time comes (and it all fits!) install the unit in my 81. Thanks for any direction. It would save time right now. Neil. |
