We saw these all over the place this summer over in Europe. I don't think I
would put them in the class of 'minivan' (but i'm not in charge). In my
opinion, they don't look anything like a dodge caravan, chrysler town n
country, or honda whatever minivan(traditional minivan form factor). From
the side, it looks like a tall Ford Focus station wagon. Other than the fact
that it's a VW, they aren't that special. It is a bit ridiculous that they
say the diesel engine is too expensive. I don't get that. Most cars in
Europe are available in diesel (almost all are).
And I don't plan on trading in my vanagon or westy in on one!
