Where'd they put the engines in these bad boys? And.....what kind of engines? This vehicle is far to big for a little 86hp 1.9L or worse, aircooled. But then again, a 1980 vanagon seems WAY to big and heavy for a 68(?)hp aircooled engine......so its all relative. It is a VW, so they may have used something COMPLETELY rediculous (i know of Craftsman engines that put out a heck of a bit more pony-power than the earliest beetles/busses!). Just curious. Doesnt someone on the list have one of these too? -Craig '85gl barefoot On Dec 7, 2007 10:46 PM, David Marshall <mailinglist@fastforward.ca> wrote: > Only an LT 2 ? only 2WD? - 'tis yet but tiny! > > What you need is > the 4x4 version of that with a 5500kg GVW! > > http://hasenwerk.ca/lt45doka/volkswagenlt4x4.jpg > > Now that's a Vanagon on Steroids... no wait, I take that > back.
