I wonder when they began measuring brake fluid by the foot???LOL!

Kidding aside - Definitely run ONLY the DOT 4 in the Vanagon brake system. It has a higher heat rating than the others, and that is what is needed for the Vanagon brakes.

Run Dextron II/III ATF in the power steering system.
