I am pretty sure this is the same vanagon that I have seen at several bus campouts in AZ over the years. The couple that own it are ancient-ahh, much older than anybody else at these campouts-maybe in their mid/late 80's? In any event, the owner makes & sells unique vanagon accessories, non of which I can remember or have needed, but kinda cool. I think 1 is a prop rod for the rear hatch to hold it slightly open, but still secure? The last time I saw them, they had a teardrop camping trailer behind the vanagon?

These volks have gone for it, got into the whole bus scene, etc. for a long time, & I am sad to see that they are selling it. As several volks have noticed, the vanagon has been obsessed over for 17 years, & I am sure everything is in mint condition, but the price still seems a little steep.

Pax,

Tom B.-hope I am still gungho/alive at that age & doing vanagons
