Google Desktop will index all of your hard drive for local 'google' searches.


also I have a Gmail account that I use ONLY for 'good' posts that I forward to my Gmail account
and then I again have google search engine for those email.


Also using google if one puts Site:vanagon.com at the and of the search terms, google searches
only vanagon.com. e.g.  fridge site:vanagon.com
