Subject: The Thompson Coupling
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi Guys, Apologies for you receiving a post from an ex-T3 owner who didn't keep the faith but some of you might be interested in this new invention that is now just starting commercial production. The Thompson Coupling is a frictionless replacement for Uni and CV joints that requires no maintenance although I am sure the initial cost will be higher. One day you might be able to retrofit these to your transaxle and enjoy no more broken boots, vibration or repacking with that awful moly grease. They look pretty cool too...:-) See the link below. There is a good video of the coupling in action also there if you scroll down and look on the LHS. http://cvcoupling.com/ Cheers, Steve O NSW Australia '00 Transporter Double Cab '03 Transporter Double Cab (work truck....soon to be traded in on a T5 DC :-) '07 Passat Variant TDI '78 Land Rover Series 3 109 soft top ute (ex-Aust.Army)
