You might want to check the "safety switch" on your brake pedal. It disconnects the cruise control when you touch the brake pedal. Sometimes the switch is not making proper contact, other times the vaccuum line to the switch is cracked, and it looses vaccuum and shuts off the cruise control. The switch has both electrical and vaccuum contacts. I'd try the vaccuum line first. You can block off the vaccuum hose with a clamp. Drive the van, and if the problem doesn't occur again, you know its the vaccuum line.

Maybe I'm wrong. Any ideas? Thanks all. Merv
