FWIW I got mine from VM Autohaus in Burnaby. I'd have to search my reciepts, but IIRC it was in line with the CI price. There's discussion about aftermarket fans in the archives. What I got from reading the threads (and my own .02) is that any aftermarket part can fail prematurely. True one wants to "get it right" doing a job like this, but like I said.....

Mine still works fine though I don't use it much...... Yet. I hope to have a water cooled engine in before the spring so I can try out the fabulous real heat!
