Wow. Glad I don't live up that way any more ! They really got blasted on the Kitsap peninsula, close-ish to port Townsend which I managed to escape from a few years ago. . The Olympic peninsula is accessed by two , 2 lane roads, which can get closed by landsides, and one floating bridge, and that's sunk before .......and ferries, that's it for surface transport ! it's wild up there.

It's closed at milemarker 88 on the north end, not sure about the south end. The radio tonight said it would be closed until AT LEAST the middle of next week. Seems the road was washed out under I-5 and they don't know how bad it is yet, the water is still over the road but you can see the road signs now <g>.
