Subject: anyone ever have a gmail account "disabled" by google?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I've been using gmail since the early days.

I opened an alternate account several weeks ago to now manage my Yahoo! and Vanagon.com forums. I have done NOTHING out of the ordinary with my gmail account. I reviewed their terms of use and see nothing conflicting with how Vanagon.com runs their list server.

Here is the message, I've been offline now for 24hour although my OTHER (original) gmail account is just fine:

Sorry, your account has been disabled. For more information about Google Accounts, please consult our Help Center at http://www.google.com/support/accounts/.

Most goggle searches turn up people barking about the same concern. Some get it turned back on while others do not after filling out a "contact us" form and waiting for several weeks.

Can anyone thing of any activity that Yahoo! Groups or Gerry does to set off an automated system to spend that account? Gmail is SO much better for dealing with Gerry's old school way of doing forums/lists.

Shawn
