Where'd they put the engines in these bad boys? And.....what kind of engines? This vehicle is far to big for a little 86hp 1.9L or worse, aircooled. But then again, a 1980 vanagon seems WAY to big and heavy for a 68(?)hp aircooled engine......so its all relative. It is a VW, so they may have used something COMPLETELY rediculous (i know of Craftsman engines that put out a heck of a bit more pony-power than the earliest beetles/busses!).

Just curious. Doesnt someone on the list have one of these too?
