Why should he get a "free ride" on the public roads when everyone else has to pay? As taxes go, fuel taxes to fund roads and highways seems pretty fair (assuming that they are set aside as such, I know that in some (many?) cases fuel taxes just go into the general fund). What's the alternative? Toll booths everywhere?
