Waste of time ?
Evidently you fail to realize the purpose of government IS to waste time and
money ! - and to make normal life more difficult for citizens.
Didn't they teach you that in Civics Class in school ? Do they even HAVE
civic studies in school anymore ? One might think not these days.
And besides, such a bumper sticker would just give them the idea to tax
veggie burners, so nix that idea.
Shhhhhhh ..........keep a low profile is the best policy.

I agree. Wasting time trying to tax the 0.000001% of the population using
veggie oil is waste of resources. When they find a considerable loss in tax
revenue then they (the government) has a point to collect. In the mean time
the veggie burners are doing us all a favor!
I can see the bumpersticker now..."don't tax the veggies!"...

What are you smoking ? I just reported what I read in the paper.
If I have a position on the matter, it would naturally be that government
shouldn't be messin' with citizens that just want to drive on french fry oil
or whatever !!
I think it's always better to keep a low profile.
And, for sure, the government, generally, is almost the enemy, they do after
all support the destruction of the environment, for example.
There's need for government, for sure ( ! ) but somehow they always seem to
get out of control. Nature of the beast I suppose.

I doubt the pro converter is to blame/fault if that is what you are stating.
There is nothing illegal about converting just driving w/o paying the
appropriate tax on public roads!
We are going to convert a tdi next summer because I have an infinite supply
of free and highly filters veggie oil...but I sure as hell won't advertise
with a bit decal on my car saying www.greasecar.com or Veggie Powered!

So easy to read that at first glance as 'electric' fuels.
There's a guy in south or north Carolina who might be in big trouble with
his state treasury dept or whomever, for doing veggie conversions to diesel
cars and not paying road fuel tax, something like that.
Crazy, no ?

Paul mentions...
Road usage tax and the hassle of filing and being audited is more than most
want to deal with. This discourages many to not use alterative fuels,
eclectic, propane, natural gas and methane (to name a few).
....
I wonder what qualifies as an eclectic fuel. Buffalo Chips? Mao tse Dong?
(say it to understand)
I can see the calculations now...41 miles used two bags of chips...
Pensioner
always on the lookout for eclectic fuels...
(Even the best smelling checker wood knot of cot that won)
Fryeday on!
