This is an overbroad law (though not so overbroad as the one Andrew describes) and would probably not hold up under court scrutiny. Barring this, though, it definitely could apply to Vanagons or pickups with campers, etc., and if you're parking on city streets 24/7/365 as I am, it's a problem. For those of you planning a vacation in Oakland next year, and I know your numbers are large, you might check with the city council about where to park your rig. |
