If you would apply that math to all volkswagen vehicles, no vw would sell in
the u.s.
most u.s. vw prices are about 30% discounted if you compare to other
countries pricing.
at 46000US$, I think it would be a steal.
But, with the current exchange rate and the 30% U.S. discount that vw has to
give here, I dont think they make any money at the moment. If you are just
in the market in order not to loose you presence here and hope for better
times, adding non-mainstream vehicles to your lineup might not be the best
idea.
