I'm assuming you meant 87 degree thermostat Scott.

Matthew, if the temperature doesn't get high enough the ECU stays open loop costing you a serious MPG penalty.

The oil temperature may not get high enough to burn off the condensed water and the unburned fuel from your over-enriched injection costing you a serious mile per engine penalty. :)
