There is already a plastic tank in production in South Africa which can go on either side. The tank has higher capacity than the ones Bill Kasper first popularized here when he brought a bunch during the South African Group purchase that he arranged. Eric later brought a shipment of those same tanks. I inquired with the manufacturer but they did not seem interested in dealing with shipping. As Eric probably knows, shipping is the tough part of the equation. I contracted with a vendor in Asia but again shipping would be a PITA. Guess there will no getting around that for imports. That just means there would have to be some pre-order with deposits taken to arrange a big enough shipment to make it worth doing.

Anyway, back to the plastic tanks. I contacted the vendor last week. He is interested in selling to those of us in the US. He is in the process of putting a bid together for me. I should know very soon. Try this link to see a pic. It looks from this pic that this highcap version will need a skid plate. Vendor says he uses a piece of aluminum to do the job.
