Pickle fork will do, but it mangles the rubber boots, but if you have
new ones who cares.

A puller is better, "borrow" this set of tools from your local
Kragen/Autozone/Canadian Tire if they have free loaner tools.  This
set is good for all kinds of front end stuff:
