Hi Scott,

That 250 year estimate is based on current usage. Convert the transportation sector to coal and that usage will go WAY up, and bring the duration down accordingly.

What the world really needs is a more efficient vehicle, and the infrastructure to support it. 200HP hybrids are not the answer. In order to stretch the life expectancy of those eneergy reserves people are going to have to get used to the idea of smaller, less powerful vehicles.

Or public transit.
