Hello John. I'm glad to hear you've successfully parted out your vanagon and that you'll be getting rid of the shell soon. Thats quite an acomplishment. Keep up the good work! Just out of curiosity, what would you want for the engine/fuel injection components, essentially the whole long block. I'm still unsure of the state of my engine, its very confusing and needless to say, alot of frustration would be alieviated if i were to simply replace it with a "known good" engine, maybe doing the head gaskets first. Over my upcoming winter break from college (ONE MONTH!) i will be working closely with some of our local vanagon people to get ahold of some necesary parts and hopefully get the coolant lines replaced.....though i still have the engine related predicament. So i guess i'm just curious as to what your looking to fetch from the engine (i have no interest in the transmission really, but might be able to find a home for it).

Thanks again John. Keep up the good work, and have a truely wonderful day!
