I installed an adjustable racing brake proportioning valve on an SVX Syncro Vanagon , and I put it in the stock location, so one could reach in the right front wheel well and change the adjustment just by turning a knob. Why is anyone wanting anything besides the stock vanagon valve ? Scott www.turbovans.com

That's pretty much how most are designed. Otherwise, you'd have to crawl under to do your adjustments? Yuck! If you want a non-adjustable situation, go to "brake pressure regulators" indtead. Or better yet, find a load sensitive version which automatically adjust the rear pressure depending on the load. Most 85-later Golfs and Jettas had this IIRC. Even my lowly 88 Fox wagon had one.
