Now, come on... the post didn't say anything about problems with Mexican gas in a "Vanagon".

I've been going to Mexico, especially Baja, for about 30 years now. Most of it on a motorcycle or buggy in the middle of nowhere. Gas has always been a problem, not just the quality, but the availability. It's one thing to fill up in Ensenada, or any of the Pemex stations on Highway 1, it can be something completely different filling up at some back-country village where the local shop keeper has to send his son out to find the guy who pumps the gas from the drums in the back.

What can I say, I'm not much for travelling down Highway 1 with the usual touristas, or the really scary Mexican buses & truckers.

Cheers,

Jeff

Jeff:

Remind me where the floal bowl is on my Vanagon. ;-)
